STRUCTURAL DRYING & DEHUMIDIFICATION
In the world of restoration, structural drying has certainly come a long way. Flood Response utilizes highly sophisticated techniques to dry structures thoroughly, safely, and quickly. The benefits of advanced structure drying techniques are easy to discern.
The first step in any structural drying process is removing any standing water. This can be done in a number of different ways, but the process is essentially the same. The bulk of the water has to be soaked up and transported to a drainage location. Once the standing water is removed, then the real work of advanced structure drying comes into play.
Flood Response uses a machine called the Hydro-X Extreme Extractor. This sophisticated machine allows the experts at Flood Response to be able to extract water from carpeting without having to remove the padding, or "float" the carpeting. This not only saves you time, but it can certainly save you money as well. Wet carpets are extremely fragile, and removing them while they are sopping wet increases the chance that they will be permanently weakened.
Now Begins the Dehumidification
After the Hydro-X has done its job, it is time to start the dehumidification process. Flood Response only utilizes state-of-the-art equipment. In the case of dehumidification, they use high-efficiency LGR and desiccant dehumidifiers. Oftentimes, structures can be dried in as little as three days, and you can get back to your normal life as quickly as possible.
